In the search for a hobby, I have written a post about my day with some photos that I have taken with my new camera.
I'm in Melbourne at the moment with my boyfriend for a short holiday. I have been to Melbourne a few times before but have never been able to really explore the area, as it has been to visit boyfriend's family.
While searching for what to do in Melbourne I came across a suggestion for a small French patisserie called 'La Belle Miette' that sells macarons, which just happened to be around the corner to where I had just finished shopping at H&M. As soon as I saw the word macarons I knew I needed to go straight away. La Belle Miette has four shops in Melbourne, I went to the one located at 30 Hardware Lane, Melbourne. Outside their shop is cute french style chairs and table to sit and eat one of their 17 flavoured macarons. Or if you want to take them home to eat later you can get them packaged in cute boxes that look as delicious as the tasty treats inside of them.
Now it came to the moment when I needed to pick the flavours.
As much as I wanted to say 'one of each please' I picked 6 flavours, 72% cocoa single origin chocolate, Caramel a la Fleur de Sel (Salted caramel), 'Bastille' - Moet et Chandon & Blackcurrant, Pistachio, Strawberry & Vanilla and Scone with Jam & Cream.
I then decided to search for a caffe near by to get a coffee to go with my macarons. I found a caffe just a street over called 'Brother Baba Budan'. This caffe is very small but makes amazing coffee and has so much character with their ceiling of chairs and artwork on the walls.
Overall a great day exploring through Melbourne, if you are ever in the Melbourne city you must visit these places!
